WHY WAS IT NECESSARY?

TO KEEP UP WITH THE COUNTRY’ GROWTH.

NOT TO MAKE IT SO EASY TO MODIFY IT

NOT TO LOSE ITS MEANING.

HOW THE AMENDMENTS TO BE PASSED?

ONLY IN 2 WAYS.

BY TWO-THIRDS VOTE OF THE U.S. SENATE

AND THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

OR BY SPECIAL CONVENTION REQUESTED BY

TWO-THIRDS OF THE STATES.

AMENDMENT THUS PASSED MUST BE RATIFIED

 BY LEGISLATURES OF THE THREE-FOURTHS OF THE STATES.

ONLY 6 TIMES THE STATES DID NOT APPROVE BY RATIFYING.

WHY WERE THE TEN AMENDMENTS NECESSARY?

BECAUSE THE FRAMERS FOCUSSED ONLY ON CREATING THE SYSTEM AND STRUCTURE OF THE GOVT.

DID NOT FOCUS ON THE INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS.
